Description
Description
Our medicinal black cumin oil, which consists of Egyptian seeds, is cold-pressed at (37°C), making it suitable for raw consumption. To ensure high-quality pressing, we do not use an oil mill as usual, but instead rely on a hydraulic press to keep friction and resistance as low as possible when extracting our high-quality oil.
We guarantee the best raw food quality at a fair price.
tips
After use, always close the bottle tightly and store it in a dark place and in the refrigerator. Black cumin is a popular ingredient in oriental cuisine. For example, Turkish flatbread is typically sprinkled with black cumin seeds. The seeds with their intense flavor are also popular in North African cuisine. Like the seeds, black cumin oil has a spicy-peppery, slightly bitter, characteristic, very dominant flavor. Black cumin oil can be used in the kitchen to flavor oriental dishes, for steaming or for dressings and dips. Like "normal" cumin, it goes well with cabbage and pulses.
For animal lovers:
Black cumin oil can also be used externally for all (dog) fur. It repels ticks.
Why black seed oil?
The essential, double unsaturated linoleic acid dominates in black cumin oil. Linoleic acid helps maintain a normal cholesterol level in the blood. The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 10g of linoleic acid (equivalent to around 2-3 tablespoons). Something very special about black cumin oil is the high proportion of essential oils, which, depending on the year of harvest and growing conditions, is between 0.5g and 2.5g per 100g, as well as bitter and tannin substances such as nigellin and thymoquinone. They provide the extremely intense, typical taste, but also explain the popularity of black cumin oil.
